PERFECTSH'INN BY THE SEA

The best medicine is always a hearty dose of Vitamin Sea! What was meant to be a business trip for the fitness expo 'IHRSA' turned into an excuse for a much needed #GalsGetaway , and I'm not mad about it...

Thanks to 'Inn By The Sea at La Jolla' we basked in the sunshine poolside, had a fabulous Girls Night Inn with popcorn and movies, and woke up to views of The Pacific Ocean. Oh and did I mention they house an amazing all-you-can-drink Iced Coffee bar? I definitely took advantage of that. #CaffeineQueen

Inn By The Sea is located in the heart of San Diego's affluent sea side village, La Jolla. The streets are lined with posh boutiques and water front cafes. One of the hotel's many amenities include beach-cruiser bike rentals. We took em' for a spin to visit some very cute neighbors hangin out in The Cove.

March is Pupping Season, so I got to get up close and personal with one of my favorite animals.

You guessed it...The Sea Lions! Momma Sea Lions cuddle up on the shore with their pups and, it is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever experienced. I mean, that face says it all ^^^

A morning of 'oohing' & 'awing' over mother nature will really work up an appetite so, we headed to 'Duke's' on The Cove. While it is known for it's Hawaiian inspired fare, I indulged in an All-American breakfast combo... Feast your eyes on this:

Sticking to the Hawaiian vibes , that evening we headed Downtown to Little Italy to check out the #3 Best Tiki Bar in The World, 'False Idol'. Ya...I read that fact on the internet, so it must be true.

This Tiki Speak-easy lived up to all the hype, in my humble opinion. It is located close to the famous Gaslamp District, so it made for a perfect pit-stop along the way to our Salsa Dancing night out on the town.

To round out our short & sweet 48 hour trip, we stopped at the ever so instagram worthy

"Communal Coffee"

Sure, you pay a pretty penny for the latte, but when you're surrounded by the fragrant smell of flower bouquets and a gift shop full of trinkets...it's so worth it.
