SASSI LEE - BORN ON 10/23
No, I did not purposely rhyme her name to her birth date ... but it sure does have a nice ring to it.
Yet another coincidence is how every year Sassi seemingly celebrates her birthday in Houston. She turned 3 on Monday and just so happened to be in Texas to carry on the tradition. We flew to my hometown from LA last week for the birth of my nephew, James. He is past his due date, so we should have a new family member any day now...Proud Auntie-To-Be!

Sassi had a backyard birthday pawty with her 2 favorite furry family members, Yogi & Bella. My parents have a Yorkie & Yorkie-Maltese Mix whom Sassi loves to chase around. We had 'Good Girl' treats from 'Bocce's Bakery' and a few balloons to make things extra festive. Sassi LOVED the party hat I got her from 'The Pet Supermarket'. Her Mimi got her the adorable princess sweater dress (PetSmart), tying everything together with a matching pink bow.

I may or may not have splurged and custom ordered Sassi a collar for her special day. I will do an unboxing video when I get back to LA and Sassi's belated bday present arrives. Here's a preview of what it will look like: They are handmade from up-cycled Louis Vuitton material and will have a girly scalloped pink trim. I know, #SoChic

I think it's safe to say Sassi had a howlin' good time! We loved being home with all of our family to celebrate another year of Sass.
