SASSI SEUSS - GRINCHMAS AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

"FAHOO FORES DAHOO DORES - WELCOME CHRISTMAS, COME THIS WAY"

The annual Grinchmas celebration opened for the 2017 holiday season December, 2nd at Universal Studios Hollywood. Sassi & I had an early Christmas present gifted to us by our dear friend and cast member, Emily Willson...if you missed all of my social media rants bragging about it... SURPRISE... we got invited to GRINCHMAS!

I met Emily when we were cast as The DC Super Hero Girl's for Warner Bros. live events. Over the past year we've traveled to several places including San Diego & NYC for ComicCon where she played Harley Quinn & I was Wonder Woman.

I'm so lucky to have been given this role, but more importantly that I've gained a life long friendship. Not only does she have a heart of gold, Emily is a phenomenal actress and makes audiences fall in love with every character she brings to life. It's no surprise that she stole the Whoville stage as Abigail Goox - A character she developed on her own! Any WHO (haha see what I did there?!) if you're in SoCal and get the chance, you have to check her out at Grinchmas. See some highlights of our evening below:

FIRST STOP: VISITING SANTA AT UNIVERSAL CITY WALK

Sassi may look sweet & innocent in this photo, but right after the photographer snapped this shot she let out a ferocious growl at ole' Saint Nick. She's busy writing an apology letter as we speak... she's gotta stay on 'The Nice List' if she wants chew bones & squeak toys in her stocking.

Sassi & I coordinated our 'Mistletoe Kisses' themed outfits! Her festive tutu dress complete with glitter read "Mistletoe Kisses: 25 cents" and I wore a Who approved red skirt with a matching Mistletoe headband.

SASSI'S HAIR INSPO WAS NONE OTHER THAN MISS CINDY LOU WHO

The park was filled with everyone's favorite characters from the film including...

THE MAYOR

MAX

AND... DRUM ROLL PLEASE... THE MEANEST, GREENEST...

MR. GRINCH!!!!

Sassi didn't quite know how she felt about him...especially after he barked at her... obviously, that didn't go over too well... WHO knows (sorry, I couldn't resist) Mr. Grinch might have a new side kick.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

We couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the season! Everything was beautifully decorated & they really went all out when it came to costumes and makeup. I felt like I was in a story book snowflake land. I absolutely loved the Whoville Singers - It was as if Bruno Mars were multiplied and transformed into a Who.

We wrapped up the evening with a browse around the rest of the park & even got to meet my idol, Ms. Marilyn Monroe.

This really is The Most Wonderful Time of The Year & I can't wait to discover more festivities! If you have any favorite traditions, please let me know... we'd love to feature them on the blog.

There is one thing Mr. Grinch requested I remind you of when you're out doing your Holiday shopping...

"It came without packages, boxes, or bags.

Christmas doesn't come from a store.

Maybe Christmas, perhaps means a little bit more!"

So spend time with your loved ones, and treasure all of the gifts you have that come without a price tag! We have so much to be thankful for & counting those blessings is the real reason for the season.
